Define Settings

Under the setting menu, there are many settings for defining default value for using PollEx Golden Sample. Use the menus under Setting in main menu.

Define Environment Settings

Define, save, and load environment settings.

From the menu bar, click Setting > Environment. The Environment dialog opens.

Use the Environment dialog to set each environment format.
  • Layer Matching Table
    • Count: Enter the number to generate the column of layer matching table.
    • Select layer from the Artwork layer list to match.
  • Naming Condition: Sets the naming condition for getting the necessary layers.
    • Define separator between Process and Check Item in the page title: The title is generated. Sets the separator between process and check item in the page title.
    • Panel View Area Name: Sets the name in artwork layer to use for panel view information.
    • Quad View Area Name: Sets the name in artwork layer to use for quad view information.
    • Unit View Area Name: Sets the name in artwork layer to use for unit view information.
    • Default Sub View Name: Sets the name in artwork layer to use for sub view information.
    • Location Layer Names: Sets the name in artwork layer to use the information for select location from panel view.
    • Bottom Layer Name: Sets the words included only in the bottom layer to be mirrored.
  • Display Condition: Sets the display condition.
    • View Area Extension: Extend the display area on unit view. Provides the value to extend.
    • Table Default Font Size: Sets the default font size for the table.
    • Item Table Font Size: Sets the default font size for all items in the table.
    • Default Draw Color: Sets the default color for drawing.
    • View Outline Color: Sets the default color for view area outline.
    • Maintain changed Check List UI: The size of the check list UI last used by you can be saved and reused.
    • Use Addictive Color: If multiple layers are selected, they can be added and mixed by using addictive color.
    • User Preferred Color: Sets the fixed color of the layer in the order specified by you.
  • Export
    • PDF Color Transposing: When printing a PDF, the background color changes to black and white. When this option is selected, it is exported as a white background.
    • PDF Main View Draw: When the PDF is printed, the PCB of the view is drawn, and when deselected, the captured image is exported.
  • Significant Digit: Sets the number of decimal places.
    • Decimal Point: Specifies the number of digits after the decimal point to be used in comparison or calculation.
  • Additional Settings
    • Sub Title Naming: Sets the process name and sub title. You can change them through importing the Excel file.
    • Default Layer: Sets layer(s) for use in each process.
    • Data Base: Sets the default specification value. (Specification: Recipe for PCB manufacturing process.)
    • You can change process, check item and unit through importing the Excel file.
    • Set Align Rule: Sets the board origin for exporting XML.
  • Save and Load Environment
    • Saves or loads the environment file (*.lsenv).
