Manage a Path

  1. From the Path table/list, select a path.
  2. Edit the label for the path by clicking in the Label field and entering in a new label.
    Note: The ID for the path is not editable.
  3. Specify the number of points dividing the path into equal segments by clicking in the Num. Points field and entering in a value (the maximum allowable value is 1000).
    Tip: You can also check the box in the Intersection column to have HyperView automatically generate the points at the intersection of the path with the element edge or face.
  4. Activate the Review check box to highlight the currently selected path in the modeling window.
  5. Select/change the review color of the path by clicking on the Color box and selecting a new color from the palette.
