Representing Null Values in the Table View
When a table cell evaluates to null, Monarch Classic displays a user-defined string to represent the null value. Null values are displayed in the Table window when:
-
Calculated field expression causes division by zero
-
Field imported from an external database contains null values
The default string used to represent null values is "(Null)", but you can specify any string you like.
-
On the Home ribbon, select Options. The Options window displays.
-
Select View from the Options window ribbon to display the View Options window.
-
Enter the text string in the Display null values as box.
-
To save this string as the default for future Monarch Classic sessions, select Accept. To restore the previously saved default, select Cancel.
