Saving Calculated Fields
You may create as many calculated fields as you like with the following restrictions:

The maximum number of fields allowed in a Monarch Classic table is 512, including natural fields (i.e., fields extracted from your reports) and calculated fields.

The maximum data length of all table fields is 4000 characters.
Calculated fields are saved along with natural fields in your Monarch Classic model files. When you use a model file with a new instance of a periodic report, the fields are recalculated to yield up-to-date information. To learn more about model files, see, Working with Model files.
