Suppressing the Measure Total Column for Across Key Summaries

This feature is particularly helpful with reports such as inventories, in which the values are not additive, but instead only reflect the state on a particular day. In reports such as these, the ability to hide the measure column is inadequate, as it hides everything, not just the totals. This generally occurs when using dates as the across key.

1. When specifying key values for a summary, on the Layout Tab of the Summary Keys Window, select an orientation setting of Across (row).

2. Select the Hide the Across Total Column check box.

3. Click the Accept  button to save the settings and close the Summary Keys Window.
