Add External Model Dialog

Use this dialog to add an external model to the list displayed on the External Functions Library dialog.

Select Functions from the Table Design ribbon.
Select Manage External Functions to display the External Functions Library dialog.
Click Add External Model.
Provide the necessary details using the table below as a guide.
Click the OK button to save the settings and close the dialog. Note that the External Functions dialog now lists the model and its functions.
Click OK to save the settings and close the dialog.

Field	Description
Name	Enter a name for the external model.
Model	Displays the path to the external model. Select the model by clicking the adjacent folder icon.
Folder icon	Click to select a model via the Open file dialog.
Type of Link	Select the type of link: strong reloads from the remote model every time the local model is loaded none does not reload because no link information is retained.
OK	Saves the new external model(s) settings and closes the dialog.
Cancel	Cancels the addition of a new external model and closes the dialog.
Help	Displays this help topic.
