Altair HyperWorks Licensing 2023.1 Release Notes

New Features

Product License Features
The following new Altair HyperWorks applications/tools are available under Altair Units (AUs) licensing:
HyperSpice
Altair HyperSpice is an analog electronic circuit simulator. It features a command line tool reading input text files written in Spice syntax and a waveform viewer. Standard Berkeley devices models are accepted, as well as behavioral models including math operators, IBIS and IBIS-AMI models, and S-parameters files.
The following table lists the HyperSpice licensing features and the licensing behaviors:
HyperSpice 50 HyperSpice Standalone SPICE circuit solver requires 50 AUs. Units are stacked.
30 HyperSpiceBasic Basic standalone SPICE circuit solver has a limit in number of circuit nodes. First solver instance levels, second plus stacks.
6 HyperSpiceViewer Spice waveform viewer requires 6 AUs. Units are leveled.
Inspire
Multiple licensing features are introduced to Inspire starting in v2023 as follows:
Inspire 15 InspireGeometry Enable the Geometry capabilities in Inspire.
15 InspirePrint3D Set up model for Print3D.

It takes 30 units and check out the InspireMfgSolver license feature to run Solver.

30 Inspire Use SimSolid as structural analysis solver.
30 InspireFluidsSolver Enables the InspireFluids solver to be launched.
30 InspireFluids A tool used to assess fluid and thermal behavior early for faster, more informed.
Inspire Form
Two additional features are introduced in Inspire Form starting in v2023 to enable the new capabilities:
Inspire Form 30 InspireRadiossSolver The feature has replaced the InspireFormIncrSolver license feature. It is used to run incremental analysis using the Radioss solver. 30 AUs are required for this feature.
30 InspireFormIncr Invokes the Tryout Tab.

A virtual environment stamping analysis based on part or tooling geometry. Thinning and formability issues, as well as estimated blank shape and maximize material utilization via blank fitting and nesting utilities can evaluated. Forming feasibility via one-step solver.

Inspire Extrude
A license feature, InspireOSSolver, is added. It is required when OptiStruct is used for structural analysis. This feature requires 15 AUs.
Inspire Mold
A license feature, InspireOSSolver, is added. It is required when OptiStruct is used for structural analysis. This feature requires 15 AUs.
