The following section explains the various simulation parameters that are used when setting up a thermal simulation using ultraFluidX. These parameters are included in the standard sections of the solver deck as used for non-thermal simulations, but are listed here separately for clarity.
Additional expert parameters can be used to fine-tune simulations.
For certain aeroacoustics applications, such as fan noise, HVAC noise and train community noise, you need to evaluate flow-induced noise levels at microphones located far away from the turbulent regions simulated in ultraFluidX.
