Variables in Inspire Structures

Designate variables as the values of entities such as forces, torques, pressures, enforced displacement, constraints, and accelerations.



Benefit

Control the designated variables in a single location, using the Variable Manager.

Example Use Cases

  • Use a single torque to apply the same value to multiple holes and damping rate to control multiple spring-dampers in the model.
  • Define a user expression for a load that is based on a mathematical relationship to another input variable.
