It is possible for Embed to terminate at a point that is not optimal. If X is the vector of n variables when Embed terminates (that is, final values of the parameterUnknowns), then one of the following conditions is true:
• X closely approximates a global optimum
• X closely approximates a local optimum, but not a global optimum
• X does not closely approximate even a local optimum
These statements apply in both Phase I and Phase II optimization.
