The urban database is solved using the dominant path model.
The dominant path model (DPM) is
ideally suited to compute coverage predictions in very large areas as the model does not
require preprocessing of the vector building database. The DPM model only focuses on the
dominant path or paths between the transmitter and receiver, which leads to short
computation time. The accuracy of this method is nearly identical to a ray-tracing
model.
