Drape simulation provides corrections to the nominal ply fiber direction
(orientation) and thickness. These corrections are reflected in drape tables
assigned to ply entities. Methods available in HyperMesh
are:
Kinematic Draping - provides most accurate results. OptiStruct, Radioss,
Nastran, Abaqus,
ANSYS, and LS-DYNA.
