Create an App

  1. Access the Apps tab by clicking Access Control > Apps.
  2. To create a new App, click New App.
  3. In the New App panel, enter a name and description.
  4. The Scope indicates the areas that the User has access to. Select app,category, data, function, mqtt, policy, space, and thing. Click Create.

  5. Set the Type to Client Credentials and click Save.
    The App is created.
  6. Click on the newly created App and click on the Policies tab.
  7. Click on the + button in the upper right corner to add a Policy.
  8. Enter the # sign into the Resource field and click Save.

  9. Get the credentials for the App created; those will be the ones used on the Function.
