Groups and design parameters in NX
Introduction
User can group a set of faces and edges by giving a unique name in NX. Importing the NX part in SimLab will identify the entities with unique name and creates corresponding face and edge group. Such groups can be further used to assign mesh control, loads and boundary condtions.
Assigning name for set of faces
The property tap in NX allows the user to assign a name for a set of faces
Creating design parameters
Renamed parameters in NX part preceeding with SL_ will be read into SimLab as "Design Parameters". Tools | Expression tab in NX allows the user to remane the parameters.
