When there is a geometric relationship, such as a dimension, between two construction
features, the construction features can be called the "parents" and the geometric
relationship the "child."
When you suppress or delete one of the parent construction features, the child
geometric relationship becomes an "orphan" and the sketch is partially computed, as
indicated by the warning icon

in the
Construction History.

For
the sketch to be fully computed, double-click it to enter edit mode. The dotted line
indicates the parent construction feature that was suppressed or deleted. The

icon and a tooltip indicate an orphaned item.
