Component Group Setting

Make the GROUP that will be the target groups for different checking items. You can make grouping for components that have the same properties. There are three types of grouping methods: directing component selection on PCB design, selection from component list, and importing DB file, *.txt.

  • Group Name: Input group name.
  • Filter Type: Select the classification filter type.
    • Part Name: Make groups for components that have part names with the given condition in Filter/DB File Path.
    • Ref. Name: Make groups for components that have reference names with the given condition in Filter/DB File Path.
    • Pkg. Name: Make groups for components that have a package name with the given condition in Filter/DB File Path.
    • DB File: Make group for components that are defined in *.txt style DB file.
    • Footprint Name: Make groups for components that have footprint names with given condition in Filter/DB File Path.
  • Filter/DB File Path: Input names and DB file path depending on the filter type.
    • Direct Component Select: Clicking on the design to make the component group.
    • Select From Component List: Make component group with selection from the component list.
    • Save to DB File: Save the list into a DB file.
    • Select DB File: Make a component list with the imported DB file.
    • Delete Selected Item: Remove selected group.
  • Add Group: Make a new line to register a new group.
  • Change DB Path: Change DB file path.
