Router JIG Rule Setup

Set the rules for creating Router JIG.

  1. Vacuum Hole: Set the standard for generating vacuum holes for passing the end mil of the router machine and for sucking dust.

    1. Min Radius: Set the radius of the vacuum hole.
    2. Margin Width: Enter a margin width between the edge of the bridge and the vacuum hole.
    3. Margin Height: Enter a margin height between the bridge’s cutting edge (unit PCB outline) and the vacuum hole.
    4. Base Line Clearance: The base line is generated by avoiding the vacuum hole as much as the entered value.
  2. Base Line: Set standard base line.
    When the SMD process is completed, the array panel PCB should be mounted on the router-machine JIG. The engraved machining area should be designed to avoid interference with components.

    1. Min Radius: Set the minimum radius value for the base line.
      The larger the setting value, the smoother the curvature of the generated base line and the shorter the manufacturing time of the JIG. If the PCB shape is complicated, the minimum radius value should be set smaller.
    2. COC Thickness: The base line should be formed avoiding the component area to prevent interference with the component. The component COC (Component Outline) on the PCB design data should be expanded by the set value to prevent interference with the component.
    3. Shrinkage Thickness: Based on the outline of the unit PCB, a base line is formed based on the reduced area by the entered value. If the base line is bigger than the PCB area, the vacuum adsorption force and supporting stability will be deteriorated.
  3. Size: Enter the conditions to determine the size of the router-machine JIG.

    1. Hole Distance: Enter the distance of the JIG fixing hole.
    2. Hole Diameter: Enter the diameter of the JIG fixing hole.
  4. PBA: An engraving process to match the panel PCB shape is performed to mount the array panel PCB that completes the SMD process. The handle space should be designed to detach the PCB from the router-machine JIG by an operator.

    1. Hand Width: Enter the width of the handle space.
    2. Hand Height: Enter the height of the handle space.
    3. Radius: Enter the radius of the handle space.
  5. Bottom: Enter the standard for making the unevenness on the bottom of router-machine JIG.

    2. Thickness: Enter the uneven width of the opposite side of the router-machine JIG.
