Export PDF


Environment

Set each environment format.

From the menu bar, click Setting > Environment.

The Environment dialog opens. The dialog contains the following sections:
  • Directory/File: Sets the default directory to load the Sheet Form, Drill and Symbol DXF files.
  • Set PDF Export Option.
    • Set Board Figure Void Color White: Sets the color of void in the board figure as white.
    • Set Drill Hole Layer to Top Priority: Forcibly change the display order of the drill hole to the top.
    • Set Board Outline Color as Black (PDF): Sets the color of board outline as black to export the PDF file.

Page Manager

Create and manage the pages.

  1. Page Manager
    • Add Page: Add a new page.
    • Delete Page: Delete a page from the list. The deleted page cannot be restored.
    • Page Count: Shows the number of pages.
  2. Page Tab
    • Sheet Form: Loads the Sheet Form DXF file.
    • Add View: Drag the mouse on the right screen to create a view area.

  • View List: Check the added views and change the location and size of each view.
  • Reload: Restores the changed history to its original state.
  • Apply: After modifying the values on the list, the changed values are applied on the work screen. To delete the view, select the view from the list, press Delete, and then click Apply to delete the selected view.

View Settings

Click the view on the page list.

Dimension

Add the dimension into the PCB design area.

Click on the object you want to measure on the screen to display the measurement value, and then left-click to apply the measurement value to the screen.

Add Dimension:

  • Select specific Layer: Select the layer where the object to be measured exists.
  • Object: Measures the size or radius of the object.
  • Radius: Measures the radius of an arc or circle.
  • Diameter: Measures the diameter of an arc or circle.
  • Height/Width: Measures the height/width size of the object.
  • Object to Object: Measures the distance between objects.
  • Edge to Edge: Measures the minimum distance between the nearest edges of two selected targets.
  • Center to Center: Measures the distance between the centers of two selected objects.
  • Minimum Distance: Measures the closest distance between two selected targets.
  • Delta X, Y: Checks the vertical/horizontal distances of two selected objects.
  • Use Same Type: Use the same measure method as for the first type.
  • Point to Point: Measures the distance between two points in coordinates.

Layer

Choose the artwork layers to display on the view area.

Shows the list of artwork layers displayed on the view.

Drill

Add the drill into the view area.

The drill list shows the added drills.

  • Add Drill: Import the drill object that was saved as a DXF file.
  • The drill shape will appear on the screen. Right-click to adjust the size and set the rotation, then left-click at the desired location to add the drill.
    • Size Up: Increase the drill size (Hot key: Page Up).
    • Size Down: Decrease the drill size (Hot key: Page Up).
    • Rotation: Set the angle of the drill (Hot key: R)
Symbol

Add the symbol into the view area.

The symbol list shows the added symbols.

  • Add Drill: Import the symbol object that was saved as a DXF file.
  • The symbol shape will appear on the screen. Right-click to adjust the size and set the rotation, then left-click at the desired location to add the symbol.
    • Size Up: Increase the symbol size (Hot key: Page Up).
    • Size Down: Decrease the symbol size (Hot key: Page Down).
    • Rotation: Set the angle of the symbol (Hot key: R).
Delete
Delete created lists.
  1. View List
    • Select a page.
    • Under View List, select the list to delete.
    • Press the Delete key.
    • Click Apply.
  2. Dimension/Drill/Symbol List
    • Select a view under the page.
    • Select a tab and then select the list to delete.
    • Press the Delete key.
    • Click Clear to delete all lists.

Page Option

Adjust the list area.

  1. Resize the list area.
    • Select the page you want to change from the list.
    • On the right screen, click each area you want to change to adjust the size. The selected area is indicated by a blue line, and the size change is increased after selecting the corner part of the rectangular area with the mouse. In the changeable state, the line of each area is displayed in yellow.
    • Click Esc to cancel

  2. Move the list area.
    • Select the page you want to change from the list.
    • On the right screen, click each area you want to move. The selected area is indicated by a blue line.
    • Select the area you want to move.
    • Right-click and press Enter (or select Move in the context menu).

      In the moveable state, the line of each area displays in yellow.

    • At the desired location, left-click.
    • Click Esc to cancel.

Sheet Form Property Manager

Check the contents specified in the sheet form.

From the menu bar, click Tools > Sheet Form Property Manager. The Sheet Form Property Manager dialog opens and contains the following sections:
  • Key: If $$..$$ is written as text in the Sheet Form, it is automatically recognized.
  • Value: Enters what you want to record.
  • $$TPAGE$$: The total number of pages automatically entered displays.
  • $$PAGE$$: The total page IDs automatically entered display.
  • $$DATE$$: The date entered automatically displays.

    If items in All tab are completed, the content displays in the same way on all pages.

Save and Export

Save and export the PDF.

  • Open: Open the settings file (*.ppd).
  • Save: Save the settings file (*.ppd). When saving, the file name is saved as the sample file name and is stored in the location where the sample file is located.
  • Save As: Save the file (*.ppd) by specifying the file name and storage location.
  • Export: Output the created contents as PDF.
