Duplicating a Document Type

When creating a new document type, you can save time by duplicating an existing document type with similar parameters.

To duplicate a document type

  1. On the Navigation Tree, click Report Warehouse, then click Document Management and select Document Types.

  2. On the Document Types page click clip0002.

  3. Click the Duplicate button at the bottom of the page. The Copy Document Type dialog box appears.

  4. Click the document type that you want to duplicate. All boxes will be filled with values of the selected document type, except for the Document Type Name and Description.

  5. Enter the name and description (optional) of a new document type, make the necessary changes to other boxes and click Save. For details about how to fill in the page items refer to Adding a Document Type.
