To add a hyperlink

  1. On the Navigation Tree, click Report Warehouse, then click Document Management and select Document Types.

  2. Click the name of the document type you want to add a hyperlink to or click anywhere on the row, and then click clip0003.

  3. Select the Hyperlink tab at the top of the page.

  4. Click clip0002 to display the Hyperlink page.

  5. Make changes to  the following items:

    1. Model name: Shows the current index model.

    2. Field Name: Select a field name from the list.

    3. Hyperlink Type: Select the hyperlink type:

      1. Inner Document: Select to link to the most recent single Document of the specified Document Type where the Index Value is equal to the cell value from the hyperlink.

      2. External Link: Select a model field from the list.

    4. Connected Document Type: The option becomes available if you select the Inner Document hyperlink type. Select a connected document type to search.

    5. Connected Index Field: The option becomes available if you select the Inner Document hyperlink type. Select a connected index field to use.

    6. Url Template: The option becomes available if you select the External Link hyperlink type. Define a URL template for the link.

    7. Test Value: The option becomes available if you select the External Link hyperlink type. Enter a value you want to test. The field is not required.

    8. Preview: The option becomes available if you select the External Link hyperlink type. Click, to preview the result in a new window.

  6. Save: Saves the hyperlink. If the operation is finished successfully, the system displays the Document Type page.

  7. Clear: Clears all the fields.

  8. Cancel: Cancels the operation.
