Clear Credentials from Projects and Models

Similar to the case for workspaces in Data Prep Studio, projects and models used in Monarch Classic may contain credentials allowing access to various data sources. Monarch Utility can also scrub these credentials.

  1. Launch the Monarch Utility wizard and ensure that the button for Clear Credentials from Projects and Models is selected. Click Next when you are finished.

  2. In the next screen that displays, enter the path to the source folder containing the projects and models using credentials you wish to scrub. You can use the Browse   button located beside this field to search for the appropriate folder.

  3. Check the box for Include subfolders if you wish to search for projects and models in all subfolders as well.

  4. In the Clear Credentials Settings section of the wizard, specify which credential types to scrub:

    • Model – External lookup passwords

    • Project – Database password

    • Project – Report passwords

    • Project – HTTP username and password

    • Project – FTP username and password

    • Project – Amazon S3 login information

    • Project/Model – ZIP archive passwords

  5. Click Next when you are finished.

The next screen reiterates your instructions for the scrub operation.

  6. Select Finish to proceed with scrubbing credentials from the selected projects and models if the indicated operation is correct. If you wish to make changes to the scrub operation, select Back.
