Using Position & Length
Description
Extracts n number of characters starting from a position you specify.
When you apply this operation, you are first asked to enter the number of characters to extract and the starting position:
Use the preview column to help you set the correct Length and Start Position values.

Example
In this example, License# is the original column. Eight characters starting from position 7 are extracted to produce the values in License#Substring.
