Compensated Geometry

Generate a file whose geometry compensates for expected deformation. The finished product will deform from the compensated geometry into the designed geometry. This tool is available after you have run an analysis.

Export Compensated Geometry

Generate a model with compensated geometry and save it as an .stl file.

First, run a molding analysis.

  1. On the Molding ribbon, select Compensated Geometry icon.
  2. In the Export Compensated Geometry window, select a run and then click the Export button.
  3. Browse to your desired save location and click Save.
