Templates

Use the Templates tool to create and edit blocks of text that contain data fields and programming instructions.

Template Properties

Property Name Description
General
Name Name of the entity
Variable Name The variable name, a unique identifier string of the entity
ID A unique identifying integer
Definition
Name Variable name of the definition the template is instanced of
File Definition file name (mdl), if the definition is included through a file
Type The type of the definition
File Modified Indicates that the definition file has been modified, but not saved
Linked Indicates that the definition is shared with another instance
Properties
Type Use the dropdown to select where to write the template:
  • Write text to solver input deck
  • Write text to solver command file
Text Click Edit Template to open a text box and enter the text of the template.

Select the Evaluate check box to evaluate the template.
