Gears
Use the Gears tool to create a gear entity to relate the motion of two joints.

Gears Properties

| Joint 1 | The first joint that represents a gear or pinion in a gear set | ||

| Origin | Location where the gear and
pinion meshes This will define the gear ration between the two joints. |

| Use Virtual | Virtual is an expert option that is very similar to a rigid joint, but with "soft constraint" behavior that is useful for avoiding redundant joints. Default uses the global setting from the Run Motion Analysis window. | ||
