Definitions
| Field | Contents | SI Unit Example |
|---|---|---|
| PID | Unique cohesive element property
identification number. No default (Integer > 0) |
                |
| MID | Normal and shear behaviors of the
cohesive elements entry identification number. MID on PCOHE should refer to the MCOHE, MCOHED, or MAT1 Bulk Data Entries. No default (Integer > 0) |
                |
| INT | Integration scheme of the cohesive
                    elements.
 (Integer) |
                |
| THICKNESS | Initial thickness of cohesive layer
                  (applicable to MCOHED entry only).
 Default = 1.0  |
                |
| CORDM | Material coordinate system
                  identification number. 2
 (Integer ≥ 0) |

Comments
- All cohesive element property entries should have unique identification numbers.
 - The cohesive material coordinate system is defined as the element local coordinate system by default or a prescribed system (CORDM = Integer ≥ 0). The material local 3-direction is taken as the cohesive normal direction corresponding to Mode I fracture, and the material local 1- and 2-directions correspond to Mode II and III fracture.
