1.Select the pick geom subpanel.
2.Click the switch and select either lines or surfs.
3.Indicate the line(s) or surface(s) where you want to create a node by selecting the entity on your model or select lines or surfs and choose from the extended entity selection menu.

4.Use the mouse to select the position on the line or surface where you want to create the node(s).
