HS-1100: Leveraging Historical Data with Existing Data Model
Learn how to organize and leverage historical data from result files. Existing Data model helps organize result files of any sort by defining a common name for all and move them to their respective run folder. In this tutorial, historical data will be extracted of five OptiStruct simulations (*.h3d files).

HS-1100: Leveraging Historical Data with Existing Data Model

Learn how to organize and leverage historical data from result files. Existing Data model helps organize result files of any sort by defining a common name for all and move them to their respective run folder. In this tutorial, historical data will be extracted of five OptiStruct simulations (*.h3d files).

Before you begin, copy the “Data” folder from <hst.zip>/HS-1100/ to your working directory. The “Data” folder contains all the result files from different simulation runs.

In Step 1, you will browse to the directory in which the files are located and define a common file to read data.

In Step 2, via Media Source, you will define the result type of interest and visualize it.
