MONITOR

I/O Options and Subcase Information Entry Controls the printing of monitor point data to the .monpnt file, whenever monitor points (MONPT1/MONPNT2/MONPNT3) are defined in the model.

Comments

  1. The MONITOR entry can be used for controlling the output only in case of linear static analysis. It has no effect in case of static aeroelastic analysis.
  2. If a model has at least one load monitor point (MONPNT1/MONPNT2/MONPNT3) defined:
    • For linear static analysis, the .monpnt file will be generated only in the presence of the MONITOR I/O Option.
    • For static aeroelastic analysis, the .monpnt file will be generated automatically.
  3. The output is printed to the .monpnt ASCII file.
