Definitions
| Field | Contents | SI Unit Example |
|---|---|---|
| SRFID | Surface identification number. No default (Integer > 0) |
                                                  |
| NROW | Number of rows of nodes. | |
| NCOL | Number of columns of nodes. | |
| ENDTYPE | Select from:
  |
                                                  |
| NSEGU, NSEGV | Number of segments along the U and V coordinates
used to discretize the deformable surface for
animation purposes. No default (Integer > 0) |
                                                  |
| G1, G2, … | Row-wise list of nodes. The first NROW IDs form the first row; the second NROW IDs form the second row, and so on. The list must contain a total of NROW*NCOL grid IDs. |

- The
deformable surface is generated using the CUBIC
spline interpolation which requires assumptions on
the second derivative of the interpolating
function at the end of the surface. The keywords

 - The MBDSRF element is not supported by the Force Imbalance method of static equilibrium.
 - The MBDSRF element does not possess any inherent inertia, stiffness or damping.
 - This card is represented as a set in HyperMesh.
