LATPRM, MINRAD

Bulk Data Entry Depending on the LATPRM, CLEAN value, MINRAD is either used to set the Lower Bound of the Design Variables in the Lattice Sizing Optimization Phase, or the minimum radius value for Beam Cleaning.

Comments

This parameter can possibly be set equal to the smallest dimension that a particular 3D Printing machine can generate.
If MINRAD is specified in the input deck without any value, then the default value is set equal to $(\frac{U B}{10^{6}})$ . Where, $U B$ is the upper bound of the design variables for Lattice Sizing Optimization phase.
If R2LRATIO and MINRAD are both specified in the input deck, the max(R2LRATIO, MINRAD) value is used for beam cleaning. R2LRATIO does not affect the lower bound of the sizing design variables in the second phase.
