When analyzing the vehicle, the components are divided into the sub-assemblies:
Body, Front wheel and Rear wheel.
Select the components in the Assembly Browser, then click on the corresponding
options Body or Front wheel or Rear wheel.Figure 1. Identify Part in SimLab
A sub-assembly is created for the selected components, to which the corresponding
material is automatically assigned in the background.
The front and rear wheels should be separate components. The wheel can either be a
single component or a combination of tire and rim.
Auto Vehicle Position
Analysis ribbon > Parts > Auto Vehicle Position
Using the AutoVehiclePosition tool, the vehicle is positioned in
the desired orientation relative to the channel based on the coordinates of the
channel and the dimensions of the front and rear wheels.
