PELAST
Bulk Data Entry Defines the frequency dependent property values for a PELAS Bulk Data Entry. It can also be used to define a nonlinear spring for Nonlinear Analysis via the TKNID field.

Definitions
| Field | Contents | SI Unit Example |
|---|---|---|
| PID | Property identification number. Must
match with a PID of a PELAS Bulk Data
                    Entry. No default (Integer > 0) | |
| TKID | A TABLED# entry
identification number that defines the force per unit displacement versus
                  frequency relationship. Default = 0 (Integer ≥ 0) | |
| TGEID | A TABLED# entry
identification number that defines the element structural damping coefficient
                  versus frequency relationship. Default = 0 (Integer ≥ 0) | |
| TKNID | A TABLED# entry
identification number that defines the nonlinear force versus displacement
                    relationship. Default = 0 (Integer ≥ 0) |
Comments
- Each PELAST entry must have a matching PELAS entry.
- PELAST is ignored in all solution sequences except frequency response and nonlinear analysis. Nominal values from the PELAS entry are used in all the analyses except frequency response analysis or nonlinear analysis.
- If the TKID, TGEID, or TKNID fields are blank, or 0, the corresponding nominal value from the PELAS entry will be used.
- The TKNID table is available for use in Nonlinear Analysis to define a nonlinear force versus displacement curve.
- This card is represented as a property in HyperMesh.
