Export Springback Compensation

Export springback compensation data for use in Cimatron in addition to NX and Catia for geometry compensation.

  1. From the Run History, select a run that includes a springback analysis.
  2. From the Tryout ribbon, select Compensate.
  3. On the guide bar, click Compensate and select Export from the dropdown.

  4. On the guide bar, click Reference Part and click the reference part in the model.
  5. On the guide bar, click Fixture Points and click any number of points in the model to position the springback part on the reference part.
  6. On the guide bar, click Apply .
    The solution (.txt) file is exported to the current run folder that can be used with Catia, NX, or Cimatron. You can right-click the Run dropdown in the Analysis Explorer and select Open Run Folder.
  7. To export the reference part and springback part after positioning, right-click the model and select Export springback and reference parts.

    An .stl model of the springback part and reference part is exported to the current run folder. You can right-click the Run dropdown in the Analysis Explorer and select Open Run Folder.
