Workflows and Terminology for Using Model Protection

View the typcial workflow when creating a protected component as well as using the component in a model.

The following terminology is used:
Designer/creator
The person or company creating the protected component and knows the password for the component. An example would be a third-party vendor creating antennas and making the protected model available to customers while concealing its proprietary design of the antenna.
Client
The person using the protected component in its model. An example would be an engineer that uses an antenna from a third-party vendor in its model, without knowing the password for the model or the design of the antenna.
