When you click on the Coff Info button in the Download dialog, Embed looks at the generated OUT or ELF and extracts information pertaining to the allocation of FLASH and RAM usage. Because there are limited amounts of FLASH and RAM on a device, it is a good idea to periodically check to see how close you are to exceeding your device’s limits. Vendors sell devices with varying amounts of FLASH and RAM. If you are under or approaching your device’s limits, you should consider moving to a device that better aligns with your usage requirements.
