    Select the casting parts and define the material, alloy, and temperature.
  - Set Gravity Direction
    Orient the direction of gravity with respect to the model in order to control the flow of the liquid as it enters the mold and solidifies.
  - Part Analysis
    Set the mold's opening direction and get insights on the part's fillet radii and thickness.
    - Designate Mold Opening Axis
      Select the axis along which the mold will open and designate the demolding angle.
    - Fillet Radius Analysis
      View fillet radii on the casting part.

      View the areas of greatest and least thickness in the casting part.

Thickness Analysis

View part thickness as a heat map.

Click the Casting tab.
On the Cast Part icon, click Part Analysis.

Then, in the Part Analysis sub-ribbon, click Thickness.

A limited analysis explorer window opens, showing the part's thickness data as a color-coded heat map.

Note: When using a multicavity mold, only one part's thickness will be analyzed.
Optional: Use the slider in the analysis explorer window to change which thicknesses are displayed.
Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
