Altair Monitor User Guide
Altair Monitor is a software license tracking tool that reports current and historical license utilization. The license managers that Monitor supports includes FlexNet Publisher, Reprise, LUM, and many others. The primary user interface for accessing Monitor is a web interface.

Set Up Monitor as a Service – Windows Only

Once the Monitor system is set up and installed, it is recommended that Windows users set up a Monitor as a service. This enables you to more efficiently manage Monitor and to log in from your local host easily.

Stop Monitor from running by clicking Stop.

Under Windows Services, enter in your account and password.
The service account name is generated from your company, as is the password.
Click Install.
When finished installing, click Start from the Windows Services area.
You can log in from the local host from this point forward.
