Connecting to Teradata

You will need to use the ODBC Connector interface to use the Teradata ODBC driver and load Teradata data into Data Prep Studio. The Teradata ODBC driver is installed with Data Prep Studio.

Steps

1. Install Teradata Tools and Utilities.

2. Create a Teradata DSN using the ODBC Data Source Administrator.

3. Load the DSN you created in Step 2 using the Data Prep Studio ODBC Connector.

Notes:

• The installer can be downloaded from here.

• During installation, accept the default selection which is: ODBC Driver for Teradata.

• After installation, you may need to restart the machine.
